Job description / Role
A leading digital security company has an exciting opportunity to grow with their team based in Dubai; they are looking for a Technical Consultant to join the team focused on the technical sales within secure transactions and smart card solutions.
•Managing the technical requirements for the sales cycle for opportunities within the team.
•Positioning the solution as the ‘right for me’ to the customer
•Being the go to person from a subject matter expert within the team in country and region
•Provide technical pre-sales support with card related solutions.
•Work with the sales team in a pre-sales role to develop and position solutions.
•Deliver presentations and participate in conference call discussions.
•During the qualifying process, confirm the products meet the prospect's requirements and assist sales in technical qualification.
•Articulate and demonstrate solutions, and position products relative to competition.
•Manage and implement technical evaluations of products, proof-of-concepts.
•Actively deliver presentations at high level speaking engagements at seminars and trade shows.
•Write technical white papers.
•Deliver detailed and formal answers to Request for Proposal and Request for Information documents.
Requirements
•Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
•Hands on experience in project management, pre-sales, systems/sales engineering or related field.
•Ability to navigate and manage technical issues within an account with ability to map technical and commercial value to broader business concerns/goals within the engagement.
•Working knowledge and experience on EMV, smartcards, PKI and enterprise solutions.
•Candidates with previous experience with smart card, payment solutions and technical security.
•Project management experience
•Must have excellent communication skills. Arabic an advantage
