Technical Engineer

Job description / Role

1. Responsible to optimize all the technical aspects of the plant operation to produce the company’s products to agreed quality standards and within agreed budgeted targets.

2. Run projects to increase the efficiency of our production equipment and minimize down time.

3. Ensure safe practices are followed by operators and technicians.

4. Responsible for the effectivity of the technical department ensuring that the design of parts and components is carried out in accordance with customer specifications, company standards and manufacturing methods.

5. Oversee projects and order ensuring they are completed to set plans and goals.

6. Review, test and approve product design, design changes and new materials and techniques. Make sure that this process is documented and all changes are properly communicated to concerned departments.

7. Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary regarding technical issues or queries.

8. Help to implement new procedures for the workflow within the organization.

9. Have an in depth understanding of the Technical documentation and have a background or qualifications in Mechanical Engineering.

10. Run continues improvement programs using management techniques as SMED, 5-S6 sigma etc.

11. PC literate with strong communication and presentation skills, able to handle customers and suppliers effectively.

Requirements

Qualification:
Minimum 2 years experience in Manufacturing; Can Making Manufacturer experience will be advantage competency.

Experience in setting up and maintaining an ERP System’s BOM’s and Routings and Consumption.

EDUCATION:
Mechanical Engineering.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Very good knowledge in Excel, Word, AUTOCAD 2D-3D (CADCAM).

LANGUAGE:
Fluent in English communication.

AGE:
30 – 45 Years

SALARY RANGE:
Saudi Riyal : 4,000 – 6,500 (Based on Qualification + other competency)
