Technical Lead - Major Projects
Our client is one of the largest LNG producing companies in the world. They are currently looking for Technical lead who will provide technical advice and support on the design, construction and modification, vendor identification, procurement strategies, and cost estimates. Provide overall technical guidance during the conceptualization, definition and engineering of OPD's projects, especially Cat III, and serve as liaison between TSS and Project Execution and Technical Department and other stake holder. As such take an active role in the execution of the main project review activities.
Job Purpose
* Screen the preparation of Gate 2 packages of critical and complex projects, including Cat III.
* Endorse the Gate packages of Cat IV-III projects, and participate in the Gate meetings.
* Participate in the CERs and IPRs of major projects.
* Participate in the HAZOPs, engineering and constructability reviews of major projects.
* Address the technical questions raised to him by TSS engineers.
* Provide guidance in the implementation and use of RGPMS procedures, engineering documents and tools, as appropriate.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to TSS personnel, especially to the Heads and other Discipline Team Leaders.
* Provide discipline support to project Engineers/Managers and lead discipline-specific engineering team.

Requirements
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering)
* Minimum of 15 - 20 years of professional experience
* Minimum 8 years' experience in Engineering Department of an operating Oil & Gas Company addressing operational issues as well as planned project activities all through the entire life cycle
* Minimum 8 years' of experience in LNG plants, experience with Rotating /Static Equipment
* Minimum 8 years' experience in project engineering using a gated project delivery process.
* Experience in working with a reputed engineering companies in project design.
