Technical Manager Architectural Practice in Dubai
Dubai, UAE
My client an international architectural practice with a long standing reputation of delivering creative and innovative designs for high-end commercial and hospitality projects globally, has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager to join their team in Dubai.
This is a senior level role within the business, reporting to the Managing Director and playing an integral part in overseeing the operational, technical and strategic aspects of the architectural production division. This busy and challenging role will encompass but not be limited to:
Technical responsibility for all design related activities within the production department and to ensure information and documentation is produced and issued to the highest of technical standards
Design review and approval of all design related information
Ensure relevant QA/QC standards and procedures are in place with the production department
Lead and motivate the design production department
Commercial responsibility for the design production department
Requirements
To be successful in this role you must have a BA/B.Sc. Architecture and 15+ years experience, including a minimum of 5 years in the UAE. An in-depth understanding of Middle East and international building codes and standards and a strong background in design management for complex buildings projects.
