Job description / Role
A leading engineering contractor is seeking a FRENCH speaking Technical Manager to be responsible for a team of engineers and draughtsmen on a major new port being constructed in the south west of Morocco. Comprising of a 3km jetty up to 18m high at its deepest and piers totalling 390 metres, the role will be responsibe for the technical aspects of the project which includes design, shop drawings, technical document submittals, work program, method statements, payment certificates progress reports etc.
Requirements
Interested candidates should have a BSc/MSc in a relevant engineering discipline (civil/ marine/ port/ structures) and a substantial track record in the role of Technical Manager for a leading contractor on major port/ marine projects, ideally in Europe. Due to the location, you MUST be fluent in both written and spoken FRENCH. You will have expertise in all technical aspects of major projects including design, shop drawings, technical document submittals, work program, method statements, payment certificates progress reports and cost control/budget related issues.
