Job description / Role
Fulfilling a senior role within the Project Management Team, providing leadership, coordinating work of all Infrastructure & MEP disciplines and mentoring to the team members. Managing the project delivery to meet time and quality whilst meeting or exceeding Clients’ expectations.
•Coordinating technical interface between Discipline Design Teams.
•Managing Discipline Design Managers (and Sub-Consultants if any) to meet the project objectives.
•Responsible for monitoring delivery and receipt of all necessary technical information by Discipline Design Teams.
•Responsible for ensuring sufficient overall level of technical resources.
•Responsible for monitoring response to all Discipline Design Team technical queries and requests for information.
•Assisting the Project Manager to give technical direction to Discipline Design Managers.
•Alerting the Project Manager to design technical issues.
•Gathering inputs from Discipline Design Managers to ensure timely response to client queries.
•Assisting the Project Manager with preparation of progress reports.
•Checking project deliverables including reports, specifications and studies in relation to the assigned work on the project.
•Manage project to meet time and quality requirements.
•Deploy and manage appropriate resources for the project.
•Maintain regular contacts with clients and authorities.
•Lead design teams to prepare project proposals for submissions and to implement project in respect of planning, design and construction services.
•Supervise ongoing project activities.
•Carry out Quality Assurance as required by the Company Systems.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum of fifteen years postgraduate experience in planning, design, contract and construction services.
Further Qualification Required:
Chartered Engineer from a recognized professional body.
Further Experience Required:
Experience in supervising all aspects of civil design including the application of design standards, managing specialist sub-consultants and complex project delivery methods
