Technical Manager - Pre/Post Sales - RF Planning & Optimization - MNC

My client is a multinational telecom equipment manufacturer, providing best of breed solutions for the mobile operator community globally. With a comprehensive suite of network testing, planning and optimization and post processing tools, they are shaping the future of the wireless networks. Due to continued global expansion and significant investment in the Middle East market, driven by customer demand, they are now expanding the Dubai office. As such an immediate requirement for a senior Technical sales manager has arisen. The role will involve:
Supporting the sales force from a technical perspective
Building technical relationships at all levels with customers
Running demos and POCs
Responding to tenders ad RFPs etc
Leading technical presentations
Training customers and partners
Representing the vendor at road shows and exhibitions
Hands-on post-sales support as required

Requirements

Candidates must have:
At least 10yrs in RF planning and optimization
Presales and post sales experience
Hands on experience with tools such as TEMS, Anite, Ascom, Anite, Nemo, Swissqual, etc.
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of local operators - STC, Zain, DU, Etisalat, Mobily, Mobilink etc.
Expert knowledge in mobile technologies - 3G,2G, 4G, UMTS, GSM, LTE
Understanding of the sales cycle
Ability to work in challenging environment and under pressure
Vendor experience preferred (operator experience is considered)
Flexibility for travel (40%)
Motivation and hungry for success with a “can-do attitude”
Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
Arabic / French is desirable but not mandatory
