Job description / Role
Our client is a multinational Industrial Manufacturer with their headquarters in Germany and 3 manufacturing facilities across the GCC region. They are looking to recruit a Technical Manager to over oversee their Dubai and Ras Al-Khaimah plants.
Reporting directly into the Managing Director, your main objective is to ensure the products are up to the international standards and to ensure the plant is operating at full efficiency. To ensure the plant is efficient you must look at the factory's KPIs (such as manpower, wastage and energy). You will be expected to liaise with other divisions such as quality, health & safety and sales. This is a client facing role, so you will be meeting with customers and suppliers to discuss the requirements and to ensure quality and timely delivery. You must regularly touch base with these customers and suppliers to build relationships with them.
In addition to the above, you will also be responsible for the following:
- Write and present proposals in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all technical documentation, systems & procedures are followed
- Work closely with the sales departments to support in securing new business
- Ensure all the manufactured products are properly tested.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be a degree qualified engineer with a minimum of5 years experience in a technical, manufacturing role. In addition to the mentioned requirements, you must have had strong technical and sales experience across the GCC region. To apply for this role you must be based in the UAE and holding a UAE driving license as you will be required to frequently visit the Ras Al Khaimah plant.
