Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Technical Office Engineer is responsible for handling projects during the per-construction phase.

He/She ensures that all project parameters are available on time for the construction work to begin, and properly coordinates and manages the design process of projects.

Key Accountabilities
- Identify all design and commercial parameters (signage, material, shop front, construction, commercial sections, entrances, fitting rooms), and handle them in coordination with Malls and Brand Managers, landlords and public authorities.
- Communicate commercial and technical requirements to designers such as As Built Drawings, LOD, Design Manual, etc. in order to ensure that work is completed according to standards.
- Request quotation/invoices from suppliers and contractors, review them for conformance with the drawings and project cost estimation in order to communicate them to the concerned Project Engineer.
- Receive final drawings from brand designers and submit them to respective Malls for approval in coordination with MEP Consultants.
- Coordinate with the Accounting department for timely payment and with the Logistics department to ensure availability of needed material.
- Follow-up on internal and external reviews and design drawings approval.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in interior finishing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and convert them into a project planning.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Autocad and a Project Scheduling Tools (such as MS Project, Primavera or other).
- Fluency in English.
