Technical Procurement Manager – Networks and IT Strategic

Job description / Role

As the Procurement Manager - Networks and IT Strategic you will be responsible of procurement and subsequent overall contract management of Network and IT Vendors including pre-qualification, management of the tendering process, award of contract (s) and subsequent contract management of the Vendors.

Reviewing and evaluating the commercial aspect of the tender responses
Strong knowledge of 3G and 4G and VOIP
Negotiating with the tenderers
Production and negotiation of contracts
Advising the project management team on remedy’s within the contract if poor performance is encountered
Involvement in assessment, review and negotiation of any additional costs requested by the Vendors
Reviewing of any changes in internal/external procedures/processes to ensure compliance with the agreed contract
Risk management if the above are not in accordance with the Contract.
Conducting regular review meetings with the Vendors
Developing, managing and maintaining commercial relationships with the vendor to ensure that they meet the companies objectives w.r.t. time, quality and cost.
If required escalating issues regarding the contracts including all relevant information.
Applying financial control in line with management objectives
Ensuring that initial placement of Contracts is under budget
