Job description / Role
• Primary purpose of this role is to plan, design, execute and project manage SIM Tool Kit (STK) platform and its upgrade.
• Responsible for end to end delivery of operator and partner integration projects.
• Gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Project Management.
• Planning – Capacity and performance.
• Technical Design.
• Implementation and execution through internal and external teams.
• Handover to operations and Optimization.
Requirements
Technical Requirements:
• Possess a degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Business Computing or IT related subject.
• Have at least 4-5 years’ experience in VAS technology.
• Be able to travel as required, into Saudi Arabia and all other MENA region countries. Some travels may also be required to Malaysia and India.
• Have an extensive track record in the delivery of software/application development, and infrastructure systems integration projects within the mobile operator sector, specifically within VAS products.
• Deep knowledge of the specifics of STK platforms, STK technologies and content management systems for mobile services.
• Technical knowledge of systems to deliver VAS.
• Have Project Management certification (PMP or PMI) or relevant experience within a corporate environment.
• Development and high level design experience within a VAS environment.
• Familiarity with computer networks, telecommunications industry and project management concepts.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including SMS, MMS, WAP and STK.
• Familiarity with VAS delivery platforms such as content management system and charging solutions.
• Basic knowledge of networks, databases and systems.
