Technical Sales Consultant - Plumbing

Job description / Role

Our client is a European manufacturer of plumbing related products and systems. With a strong brand identity and well established track record in the Middle East, they now require a Technical Sales Consultant to join their team in Dubai.

Based in Dubai, your primary responsibility will be to promote the companys range of plumbing products to developers, consultants, designers, architects and specifiers in the region.

Additional responsibilities will include:
- Researching, following up and approaching new building projects in order to specify your products.
- Provide technical plumbing expertise to your customers.
- Plan and coordinate training for customers and specifiers.
- Oversee the successful installation of products on project sites.
- Plan regular customer visits and implement consistent sales policies.
- Achieve defined sales target.

Requirements

- 5 years experience within plumbing/piping/sanitary industry.
- Plumbing qualification is desirable along with strong hands-on, technical experience installing plumbing products.
- Knowledge of building drainage and waste water supply.
- Ability to communicate effectively on all levels.
- Candidates with an existing network of contacts within the construction industry are preferred.
