Job description / Role
Millar Cameron are an international recruitment consultancy, working extensively in the animal health and animal feed industry internationally. We are currently representing a leading multinational company, who are currently recruiting for a Technical Services Specialist for their business in Malaysia.
Technical Services Specialist responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive technical support but conducting customer dialogues, seminars, workshops and training sessions
- Travel with the commercial sales team to understand customer technical needs and provide solutions in monogastric species
- Initiate and organise field trials for existing and new products
- Network with industry consultants and key influencers, update them with research and new product applications
- Participate in industry conferences and gather technical expertise and support the innovation team with technical intelligence particularly for poultry and swine
- Act as an internal reference for swine nutrition
- Conduct staff training
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary education animal nutrition/biochemistry/analytical chemistry/veterinary science
- Experience with animal feed formulations
- Current in scientific knowledge particularly with enzymes and trace mineral nutrition for livestock
- English fluency
- Computer literacy
