Job description / Role
Technical Support Engineer (x2) - AF Honda
As part of our Honda Service team, you will be responsible to manage technical activities between Principals, National Service Department, and various Service Centre customers, other Departments, Suppliers and Fleet Users. Point of contact being Testing Diagnosis, product evaluation, Recalls, Service Literature and Technical & Body repair training to ensure the on-going Technical support.
You are also expected to collect information from customers, principals and competitors. Analyse and present repair methods, in order to improve the product and quickly overcome complaints thereby raising customer satisfaction. You also need to evaluate training needs (Mechanical/Electrical/Body & Paint) of productive and non-productive staff and plans their respective training in conjunction with the Technical Training Manager.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role should be a Diploma or University Degree- preferably Automobile or Mechanical Engineering graduate. You must have experience in Manufacturers/ Engineering/Quality standards and Service Programs with at least 5 years experience in a retail distributor environment.
You are also required to possess skills in ISO9001, Customer care, communication, analytical and knowledge of MS Office applications. You should be competent to understand, modern automotive repair technology and must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
