Job description / Role
My client who are a leading IT Solution provider are currently recruiting for x Technical Support engineers to work on a brand new project. Candidates will be responsible for Installing, Configuring and troubleshooting of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Vista professional and Windows 7 etc. Candidates are required to have thorough knowledge of hardware support, Desktop & Laptop, Dot matrix and direct printers. Peripheral support – Switches and wireless access points (WAPs) – telecom and cabling systems/management – Multifunctional printer support – IP phones support – Fax machine support – scanners – CCTV and access control.
Candidates also requires experience of installation and configuration of various applications software like MS office and MS outlook for mails access and internet explorer as well as installing, configuring and troubleshooting of various PC hardware components.
Requirements
Candidates for these requirements must have the following attributes:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong experience of Windows Operating systems
- Core experience of Hardware problem resolution
- Professional certification in computer support
- Ideally ITIL V3 (Desirable)
