Technical Support Supervisor

Job description / Role

You will supervise your team to ensure the ongoing performance of in-house IT systems including gathering and analyzing data to support systems management, security maintenance and performance. You will also be responsible for generating and compiling reports based on their findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.

Responsibilities:
- Qualify Stores PCIDSS compliance and ensure the implementation of PCIDSS controls
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Monitor all Regional Security Services (Antivirus,ClamAV)
- Qualify and validate newnOS security Patches for CENTOS AND Windows OS and make sure its implemented on the Regional Offices/Warehouse /Stores
- Qualify any new software introduced to the business from security point of view
- Plan for ISO certificates for the Regional Office (Dubai,KSA,and Egypt)
- Determine the most critical areas to address related to the security
- Responsible to validate any new Application Rollout Test before the Support team start the rollout
- Cooperate with ISMS team to design and update information Security and Privacy Policies and standard
- Monitor security trends and legislation locally and nationally
- Oversee incident response planning and security breach investigation
- Supervise development of security awareness and training programs for Technical Support team

Requirements

- University degree in the field of computer science/engineering or information systems
- Certification in at least 1 mainstream platform including Microsoft technologies, Network and Switching, Security, Unix/Linux technologies, Voice/Telephony technologies
- At least 4-6 years' work experience in a similar supervisory role of operational IT support teams
