The main job responsibilities will include:

* To analyze, inspect and rectify faults in vehicles and equipment by undertaking necessary repairs and resolving customer complaints adhering to prescribed product and service standards.
* Checks and inspects all vehicles and equipment for faults, and arrives at the root cause of problem while allowing for accurate preparation of cost quotations.
* Ensures necessary repairs are carried out as per standard specifications ensuring minimum down time and resolution of defects resulting in customer satisfaction.
* Checks and diagnosis the machine / equipment in order to determine the cause of malfunctioning in order to carry out necessary and appropriate repairs.
* Plans and carries out necessary repairs on site and in workshop, using standard tools and instruments and within the prescribed time frame, to ensure total customer satisfaction.
* Assesses the cause of failure of parts and submits appropriate reports that enable decisions on reusability and replacement of parts.
* Makes cost effective use of material and manpower in order to maintain productivity and efficiency standards.
* Ensures that customers are aware of preventive maintenance in order to enable least down time of equipment and continuity of operations.
* Prepares necessary reports and orders regarding repair, warranty, parts, defects, etc. to enable Shop Foreman and Workshop Manager to take corrective decisions.
* Ensures the workshop is kept clean and conforms to the laid down safety standards for material and equipment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

* 2-3 years relevant experience
* UAE Light Vehicle License
* Diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering
* Strong technical background in terms of analyzing faults in vehicles.
* The ability to operate different types of vehicle equipment.
* Ability to read & understand Arabic & English languages.
