Automall's core business is the purchase and sale of used vehicles both to retail and trade customers, with vehicles ranging from economy to prestige. This is conducted through 8 locations across the emirates by a dedicated team of over 160 Associates and trained Sales Consultants to make sure customers make the right decision when buying a used car. It's all about the people and thus our associates remain our biggest investment.

We are currently looking for an experienced Quality Controller to join our team in Dubai. The purpose of this role is to control job flow to appropriately skilled technicians maximizing on time completion, testing washing and minimizing down time while ensuring all resources used are posted to the job card.

Specifically, your job responsibilities are as follows:

* Perform daily quality inspection on minimum number of vehicles as per set target depends on business requirement
* Prepare repeat repair analysis on quality failed vehicles and recommend quality improvement method
* Achieve monthly set target vehicles to be refurbished as per business requirement
* Assist technicians in diagnosing refurbished vehicles concerns found during on road test
* Perform quality inspection on refurbished vehicles as per Al Futtaim Automall standards

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications & Knowledge Required:

* Degree/Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering
* At least 3 years' experience as a Quality Controller within a reputable automotive dealership or preferably from a multi-franchise vehicles handling workshop.

Job Specific Skills:

* Technically competent with the ability to understand the job needs and requirements
* Ability to guide and support technicians/supervisors on vehicle refurbishment jobs.
* Ability to provide established standards of customer service through understanding technical concerns, assessment of repairs or maintenance, and most importantly quality customer care in Vehicle refurbishment process.
* Proactive approach when dealing with repeat repair complaints and provide best quality improvement method to avoid repetitive complaints.
