The RoleThe RoleResearch and identify new business opportunities. Maintain a telesales customer pipeline & portfolio and generate quality sales lead opportunities for own and BDM’s territory via cold calling. Close and maintain sales. • Through a disciplined telesales contact strategy pro-actively identify new business opportunities. • Identify “suspects” through planned pro-active lead sourcing and market intelligence and research activities i.e. Newspapers, Internet, databases, telephone “cold-calling” • Generate quality qualified sales leads for own territory and for the BDM team. • Prepare and send quotations and price lists as requested or required • Receive and prepare RFQ’s as required • When requested carry out appropriate target market research activities. • Manage the full sales cycle effectively and professionally • Negotiate and close sales to meet and exceed sales targets. • To be part of the clients’ approved vendor list • Manage effectively a quality telesales pipeline, ensuring that it is updated and managed pro-actively at all times. • Establish, build, develop and maintain an extensive list of business contacts, build and manage effective customer relationships. • Communicate effectively Workz products, services and business strategies and values to key decision makers and influencers. • Achieve challenging year over year business performance targets and objectives |
RequirementsRequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Experience • Demonstrate strong business development and excellent selling skills • Entrepreneurial and have an enthusiastic “can do” attitude. • Service orientated and self motivated • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and gain respect at all levels • Excellent “sales process” knowledge Education: Higher Education essential. Graduate in Business an advantage. Sales Training certificates from reputable provider. Experience: A minimum of 2 years telesales or telemarketing experience in a high pressured “pure sales” results orientated environment. Selling packaging, packaging solutions or services preferably to FMCG companies, Marketing, Advertising or Service sector in the ME an advantage. A proven successful sales record supported by documentary evidence would also be a significant advantage i.e. achievement of targets, sales achievement certificates etc. |
