Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Teller - Remote Area - Al Baya

A 'Remote Location Allowance' of AED 750 will be provided.

Perform daily customer service delivery functions, processing customer requests with high level of service quality, meeting the given turn around time and provide business leads. To assist and provide support to the Cash Officer & Chief Teller in the cash management functions to ensure error-free transactions and maintain adequate controls in order to minimize operational risk. Be prepared and multi-skilled to perform other branch functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all cash-counter banking transactions to meet high service standards such as cash deposits, cash withdrawals, FX transactions, issuance of BCs, DDs, e-dirham cards etc.
- Balance cash held at EOD.
- Replenish and reconcile ATMs.
- Promote services and products of the bank to help achieve business goals and maintain customer relationships.
- Process customer requests within the set target time.
- Educate and encourage customers to avail of alternate service delivery channels provided by the bank.
- Contribute to business development by providing quality business leads.
- Manage priority payments to privilege and HNW customers.
- Practice and implement the bank service standards.
- Handle customer queries, complaints and resolve.
- Cross check other teller transactions against reports / source documents to ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to policies and procedures to ensure compliance to the same at all times. This includes compliance to AML and counterfeit note policies / procedures.
- Ensure customer & staff account privacy and confidentiality.
- Work within the empowerment and authorisation matrix.
- Be adequately prepared for hold ups, security issues, and / or system failures.
- Bundle ATM journal and vouchers and file them on a day to day basis.
- Co-custodian of vault, cash safe, ATM and other security items.
- Collect cheque deposits from the drop box, process and scan through ICCS.
- Scan account opening forms.
- Handle branch inward and outward mail.
- Print reports and distribute to concerned staff.
- Handle department filing.
- Maintain branch main and temporary key registers.
- Assist in administration of branch utilities and accounts reconciliation.

Requirements

- This position is open to expats; however, Emirati / UAE Nationals will be given priority.
- A Bachelors degree or High School Certificate
- A minimum of one year experience in customer service, preferably within a bank or financial institution.
