Temporary Email Marketing Coordinator (6 months) - Qatar Airways - Doha

This is a temporary role for a period of 6 months.

The Email Marketing Coordinator is the first layer of digital media experts within the Email Marketing team. The role is responsible for supporting the implementation of the new ESP and the exponentially growing operational and strategic workload during and post-implementation.

The role involves supporting the channel manager with platform migration, data-migration, database management, marketing efforts to promote email marketing as well as independently leading work streams within ESP project. You will ensure seamless operations through proactive coordination of regional and cross-departmental stakeholders with special emphasis in Finance, Procurement, IT and other power users of the ESP system including Privilege Club and Qatar Holidays.

Specific responsibilities include:
- Implementation of subscription data workflow, triggered and life-cycle email campaigns
- Preparing of MS Excel/MS Access databases
- Running of major promotional campaigns for the Email Marketing channel.
- Designing, executing and measuring creative/usability tests in order to improve Emailing performance.
- Performing quality-improvement and list-hygiene activities on QR's direct marketing database
- Monitoring of the QR site and other sources of email subscriptions

Requirements

You must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management/ Marketing/ IT/ Engineering and has affinity to internet technologies. This is an entry level role thus no prior job-related work experience is required.

You must have passion for technology and has good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You must be creative with the ability to contribute individually and participate in cross-functional teams. You must hold a high level of confidence and outstanding attention to details.
