Client: Leading diversified holding group.

The Tendering Manager is regarded as a senior management post within the Facilities Management business unit structure and consequently calls for a corresponding degree of management acumen and demonstration of leadership. As such, the incumbent assumes responsibility for all the endeavours of the tendering support staff that are directed towards the appropriation of new contracts. Without limiting the scope of the assignment, the primary function of the position is to identify prospective business opportunities and prepare professionally compiled tenders that suitably curtails the client commercial risk and accurately prices the scope of works.
Maintain good relationships with prospective clients and professionals to promote further tender invitations and provide clearly identified price build-ups to the contract team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and following up on all potential leads for prospective business.
- In conjunction with the management team, assist in selecting tenders to pursue based on our relative competitiveness, capabilities and workload.
- Strengthening & maintaining existing domestic customers base in different countries, participating in all tenders/enquiries from existing customers
- Developing new domestic customer / new countries by exploring the opportunities, tenders, enquiries.
- Carefully inspect tender documentation. Analyse exact requirements.
Oversee or complete the quote analysis comparison and make selection for inclusion in priced tender.
- Co-ordinating with consultants, sub contractors for getting tender stage Inputs
- Thorough Study of Tender document, preparing tender study note
- Pre-tender site investigation
- Preparing Complete Bid proposals & finalising
requirements, estimates and BOQ.
- Interpreting contractual obligations & rights and evaluating Technical/ Financial problems for Management reporting
- Identifying & evaluating business expansion, preparing tenders.
- Techno commercial meetings, review meetings, vendor development.
- Assess individual rates and prices, amend, create new or insert from material and subcontract quotes.
- Preparing bid documents, inviting bids, techno commercial evaluating of bids, negotiation & ordering. Handling preparation of MIS reports & logical reasoning of failures of tender submission.
- Re-assess build-ups taking account of all known conditions and requirements and adjust figures as necessary. Make corrections if necessary.

Requirements

- Education: Degree or Higher National Certificate
- Exposure to the HVAC industry.
- Estimating and tendering experience (MS Excel based system).
- Commercial expedience.
- Computer literacy and competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and MS Project.
- Good communication skills and assertive business acumen.
