Employment: Full Time

Our client are a large Oil & Gas business who have been operating in the Middle East for over 50years.

Due to current expansion they are looking for a Tendering Manager to join their Dubai team.

Purpose

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for the preparation, finalizing, delivering and submission of proposals, tenders, and putting successful bids together and winning the orders. Within this role successful bids is a key function of this role with the responsibility of providing technical support to customers and the sales team. Supporting the direct sales team and assist them with the preparation of proposals/quotations. The candidate will develop efficient and effective methods for submitting successful bids and tenders. Liaise with the project teams and stake holders to ensure all requirements are met. This role is based in Dubai.

Responsibilities

•Providing customers with product and technical information
•Preparation of techno commercial proposals in concurrence with sales
•Obtain outside quotations for peripheral equipment or services and liaise with procurement to send proposals to produce world class tenders.
•Occasional travel to customer site
•Assist sales in reviewing of new contracts. Specifically includes contract terminology and specifications, pricing, billing, delivery and other terms and conditions
•Staying up to date on product capabilities and enhancements for all products as well as related competitor products.
•Serves as a resource for less experience department staff and provides training as needed
•Defining KPIs for the department and department staff and review them on a quarterly basis
•Adherence to deadlines, bonds, payment terms & conditions.
•Bid versus No Bid analysis
•Build up/train applications engineering team with renowned expertise

Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree.
•Strong understanding and experience of rotating equipment / Oilfield products
•Order management, processing skills and commercial skills
•Invoicing knowledge, organization and follow through skills
•Strong interpersonal, communication, telephone and computer skills
•Outstanding ability to develop relationship with others
•Self-Starter, ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
