Job description / Role
- To adhere to internal QA standards and practices to ensure project and non-project acceptance criteria is signed off.
- To be responsible for management of execution of new tests as well as regression tests.
- To author test scripts to verify cosmetic and functional changes.
- To raise and prioritise bugs and retest bug fixes.?
- To become a subject matter expert on how our product works whilst understanding our customers and users.
- To deploy code releases into the test environments.
- To assist in 1st and 2nd line call investigation
- To provide UAT support to our clients
Requirements
- Minimum 2 year of testing experience (preferably 3-4years) in a technology-led company, working as part of a testing team.
- A good degree in a discipline which requires application of analysis skills (e.g. IT, business).
- Understanding of QA processes, agile and the V Model Software Development Lifecycle.
- Exposure to typical defect lifecycles.
- Familiarity with translating business/functional/usability requirements into test requirements.
- Experience with using dedicated test management software (e.g. Quality Center/TFS).
- Familiarity with relational databases
- Basic SQL skills (e.g. using select statements using multiple tables).
- Managing off-shore partners
