Test Manager

Job description / Role

- Develops Test Strategys for QA (including peripheral integration & regression), end to end, load, User Acceptance, Post Implementation Testing & Other as specified.
- Manages QA Test Teams and the creation of QA test scripts as required
- Supports UAT Test Teams and the creation of UAT Test Scripts as required
- Scheduling of Testing Cycles
- Trains users on the testing process including defect tracking
- Test Result Reporting
- Facilitates Test Result Sign off
- Assists in Pre-Deployment planning
- Manages Post Deployment Testing
- Escalates risks and issues to Project Manager

Requirements

- Minimum 4 years of experience as a QA Lead
- Expertise in health Insurance applications, web- based application, web services
- Experience with automation testing practices and tools
- Experience in writing simple SQL queries for data validation
- Experience with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze detailed business requirements, raise questions and seek resolution to outstanding clarifications required for test case identification
- An understanding of different test types such as UAT, integration, and performance
