Our client, an international consulting project management group, seeks a Testing and Commissioning Engineer to oversee specific building projects on a mega project valued at USD10B+. The key project that this role will support is a hospital valued at USD3B plus other institutional building projects.

Reporting to the Construction Manager – MEP Services, the responsibilities of this role include:

• Commissioning of major building projects including a hospital and educational facilities;
• On site supervision of the commissioning activities of electrical, mechanical and building services including setting up processes, tick offs and coordination, and interfacing with the client,
• Attending regular meetings with clients and consultants as required,
• Overseeing quality control and safety matters,
• Periodic reporting on the progress of work.

Requirements

The attributes we seek include:

• A degree in Engineering (with relevant studies in the field of electrical or MEP or building services),
• A minimum of 10 years experience in an Electrical or Building Services Commissioning Manager role for major international construction projects.
• Candidates must possess healthcare experience.
• Strong project management skills, coordination skills, computer skills, multi tasking abilities and a talent for driving solutions to achieve outcomes in a fast paced environment,
• Gulf experience will be highly advantageous.
