Job description / Role
- Control PLC system and operate thermal desorption unit working in Oil and Gas site for treatment of oil contaminated solids.
- Troubleshoot operational problems, perform preventative and corrective maintenance on TDU, conveyors, motors and other mechanical and electrical components.
- Manage material inputs and process parameters to ensure smooth operation of TDU system in order to meet treatment goals.
- Make necessary mechanical adjustments to process to ensure equipment functioning at optimal levels.
- On site management of support staff.
- Record and report daily processing and technical information.
Requirements
- Previous Experience and Capabilities.
- Detailed knowledge of thermal waste treatment operations.
- PLC control experience.
- Maintenance of basic mechanical and electrical components.
- Background in waste treatment operations with oil and gas experience preferable.
- For current Qatar residents: Valid NOC from current employer is essential.
