Employment: Full Time

Our client is one of the largest professional services companies in the World and they are currently seeking a Thought Leadership and Research Manager for their office in the UAE.

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the successful candidate will drive research, content development, curation and distribution, of all thought leadership and manage internal and external communications across the firms offices. Collaborating with colleagues within the Marketing team (PR and Digital Communications),

Some responsibilities will include:
- Drive planning and execution of thought leadership initiatives, to include: research, content development, distribution, and internal and external communications ensuring successful dissemination of thought leadership to clients and other key stakeholders (such as media).
- Leverage all global organisational thought leadership for localisation and dissemination in the Lower Gulf region.
- Work with the leaders of the key industry sectors to ensure a regular pipeline of thought leadership is developed and disseminated to clients within those business sectors and also successful outreach to media.
- Maintain close and regular contact with our Clients global industry groups to keep informed of upcoming thought leadership, research and surveys that are being planned for global use.
- Maintain an annual calendar (by month) of all TL in the pipeline by industry sector with a strategy for leveraging same.

Requirements

- Big 4 experience is essential
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent English as first language preferred
- 4-8 years responsible management experience in a business environment involving marketing, communications, market research or related fields, with direct responsibility for thought leadership development and research.
- Demonstrated creative ability with expertise in business writing.
- Track record of positive business results in the creation and launch of thought leadership and content for business audiences.
- Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to work well with business leaders to support their thought leadership requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, including demonstrated team-based operational and strategic results.
- Proven ability in leveraging online and social media channels to promote TL.
- Highly developed organization, planning and management skills with ability to think ahead and plan accordingly.
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance excellence through development, implementation and application of performance metrics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and finesse, including effective meeting facilitation to small and large groups, as well as ability to give corporate presentations.
- Strong data collection and listening skills.
- Experience in dealing with sensitive, confidential materials and respect for same, with ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive organization topics and issues.
