Threat Surveillance Countermeasures Technician

Job description / Role

- 3 - 5 years of experience in a technical capability preferably experience with working for a TSCM/Security services organisation
- Good degree level qualification in a Computer Science or related field is preferable, but not required
- Experience of all aspects of TSCM, RF Attenuation, technical and counter-espionage technologies and services.
- Manages assignments with attention to detail and while under pressure
- Leads the TSCM exercises for small to medium environments efficiently
- Technical sweeping expertise in using various TSCM or Bug Sweeping tools and techniques
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills; capable of writing technical documentation, acting as a vendor liaison, work closely with peers and engagements with end user clients
- Maintains and evangelizes strong values of integrity, commitment, and self-improvement to self and others
- Must be able to apply physical and technical security standards in conducting risk management assessments and reviews

Requirements

- Broad knowledge of TSCM technologies and associated skillset. General knowledge of INFOSEC / ICT techniques. Experience in TSCM techniques and equipment. Knowledge of Risk, Threat and Vulnerability issues. Conduct Risk and Vulnerability Assessments. Good working knowledge of the Internet, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge and experience in detecting active and passive bugging devices, Radio bugging devices, GSM bugging devices, GPS/GSM tracking devices, Keystroke loggers, Optical eavesdropping devices, Laser microphones, Fibre optic microphones, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Acoustic leakage, radio frequency etc
- Ability to work with the latest sophisticated electronic TSCM search equipment to detect the presence of both active and passive bugging devices, promiscuous monitors and keystroke loggers
- Must have working knowledge and experience with Non-Linear Junction detectors, X-Ray devices, Radio frequencies, RF spectrum, TV, radio, Wi-Fi and cell phone analysis, HVAC and power systems and Telephone (hard wired)
