Description and Desired Qualifications
CH2M HILL Track Engineer (Rail) - Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Responsibilities:

Controlling the implementation of track alignment, track and turnout installations, executed and supervised by others.
Surveying construction works, e.g. rail welding and installation of track works, in regards to relevant maintenance and operation rules, procedures and instructions (specifications, quality standards, quantity measurements, train safety, construction methodology and risk control.
Monitoring selection of track materials and reviewing track implementation methods as well as works instructions.
Providing technical guidance and supervision to the PMT (Project Management Team).
Attending meetings with Discipline Leader, Senior Track Work Engineer and construction personnel.
Preparing weekly and monthly progress reports.
Interface management between Client/Design-Builder and Construction Manager

Requirements

Job requirements/Qualifications/Experience:

University degree (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering
At least 10 years' experience as railway engineer, minimum 5 years' experience in track work assignments.
Expert knowledge about track alignment is mandatory, experience in track installation
International work experience
Excellent English skills and knowledge of Spanish a plus
Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia for at least two years
Ability of working under extreme climate conditions
