Trade Finance Operations Associate

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading global bank and is seeking to hire a Trade Finance Operations Associate at their office in Abu Dhabi. The Associate will be responsible for:

- Processing of all Import/Export LCs, Financing/Discounting and Guarantees (including text review/approval), documents examination, and client advisory
- Inputting/controlling of transactions in the bank's back office systems, as well as scanning and creating work-orders and remotely managing transaction processing in the bank's service centres.
- Liaising with clients, sales teams, external/internal auditors and reviewers and other infrastructure partners in a timely manner
- Participates, as required, in system tests including working with off-shore testing teams, new product approvals and other projects
- Support to other areas of the Operations team

Requirements

- Proven Trade Finance Experience (5+ years)
- Thorough knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP 98, UCC 522 and URDG 758
- University Graduate, fluent in English and strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to understand and follow regulations, bank's policies and procedures.
- Be flexible to travel if required
