The RoleThe RoleTRADE FINANCE SALES – IRAQ; EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR; BASED IN BAHRAIN Job Description As a member of the Treasury Services Middle East and North Africa team, the candidate will be one of the primary contacts between Iraq financial institutions, government agencies and corporate clients in Iraq and J.P. Morgan. The candidate will report to the Senior Trade Sales Manager and will manage ongoing relationships with financial institutions, Government agencies and selective corporate names while generating new business from prospective and under-penetrated clients. The candidate should be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time in Iraq and /or be based in Baghdad if/when J.P. Morgan opens a rep office in Iraq. Key Responsibilities: •Growing the existing client portfolio of J.P. Morgan in Iraq. •Developing and managing outstanding relationships with Government agencies, Financial Institutions and Corporates. This will entail an active and engaging calling schedule with regular visits to Baghdad and other commercial locations in Iraq. •Building relationships through frequent client meetings and discussions covering product innovations as well as market and industry developments. •Developing and executing a strategic sales plan. •Coordinating relationship coverage and working closely with Treasury Services Sales, Corporate Bankers, Investment Bankers and the Senior Country Officer. •Developing in-depth country and client knowledge and sharing it for both new business development and management of client risk. •Gathering market intelligence including understanding the competitions' capabilities. •Providing feedback to product managers for developing market specific products. •Generating cross-selling opportunities by maintaining strong working relationships with other J.P. Morgan lines of business. •Working with the Global Trade teams in other countries to take end to end ownership of the sales process. |

Your background must accurately reflect all of these for your application to be considered: *Expert knowledge of Transaction Banking products - Trade Finance, Cash Management, Liquidity and the ability to position these as a package. *Good knowledge of other Corporate Banking and Investment Banking products. *Existing relationships in Iraq and familiarity with the market. *Understanding of the regulatory environment in Iraq. *Works with the highest integrity and ethical conduct. *Arabic Speaker.
