Employment: Full Time

Salary: AED 26,000-28,000

A Dubai based retail group is looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to work with their FMCG brands. They will be responsible for maintaining excellent relations with key suppliers and ensure the implementation of action plans in accordance with the strategic direction of the Division Manager. This person will be overseeing Marketing / Brand department and supervise the marketing staff.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors.
- Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, working with advertising and promotion managers.
- Participate with Brand / Product Managers and / or the Division Manager in setting up the yearly plan suitable for the market and as per the brands guidelines.
- Participate with the Division manager in strategic meeting with suppliers, regional teamsto negotiate commercial conditions (margin, animations, exclusivity).
- Monitor the market trends, identify new target markets and determine potential positioning.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, logistics, marketing and merchandizing with regards to new openings, closing or renovation operations.
- Maintain smooth relationship with the suppliers and business partners.
- Follow up on sales reports and use information to take action when necessary.
- Record, monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities and provides suggested action plans.
- Provide The Division manager with quantitative and qualitative reports using data from market studies.

Requirements

- 5-7 years trade marketing experience within FMCG.
- Degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
- The drive to meet and exceed goals and standards of excellence in spite of obstacles, lack of support, opposition or discouragement; the ability to take prompt actions to achieve goals beyond requirements, to seek out new responsibilities and acts on opportunities.
- The ability to plan and deliver communications in an impactful, persuasive and tactful way.
- The ability to check processes and tasks accurately and to ensure high quality standards and output.
- The ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships as well as to value the opinion of others.
- The ability to plan and prioritize work to manage time effectively and accomplish assigned tasks.
- The drive to identify and seize commercial opportunities.
- The ability to persuade, generate interest and enhance demand for the organizations products and services.
- The ability to use computer software and applications.
