Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Will be responsible for achieving his/her portfolio share of the Corporate Trade Budget for Corporate and Business Banking Group and ensuring his/her portfolio of clients receive the best service and advice.
- Will be responsible for achieving his/her portfolio sales revenue budget for Trade Finance in the Corporate market. Individual Portfolio Budget to be advised.
- Develop and implement a focused trade marketing action plan to target the Corporate Client base in UAE.
- Manage the Corporate Client base from a Trade Finance perspective in close cooperation with the Corporate Relationship Managers.
- Advise Clients on complex Trade transactions and offer support to the target.
- Support the Corporate Relationship by providing the necessary skills, knowledge and training to help drive the Trade Product Sales in UAE.
- Delivery against aggressive volume, value and revenue targets set by Head of Trade Finance
- Work with Treasury, Structured Trade, Investment Bank and other areas to maximize cross selling potential for ADCB UAE.
- Work with Operations to ensure that Customer service levels are maintained at all times
- Sale of and assistance in installation of the Client front end offering being developed as part of the trade system initiative.
- Actively pursue consistent pricing policy and work with leadership to ensure pricing is optimal for all stakeholders.
- Allocated Revenue Budget.
- Client Satisfaction feedback.
- Feedback from Portfolio Relationship Team.
- Focus on monthly revenue and performance against budget year to date, year on year etc. for assigned portfolio.
- Day to day visiting of Trade Client base for assigned Corporate Client base.
- Establish and maintain a strict Calling program for Corporate Trade Sales Portfolio
- Expert assistance to Clients.
- Expert assistance to all internal Stakeholders, Relationship Managers and Operations.
- Client Problem solving and escalation of serious issues.
- Cross sell of other products such as treasury forward contract etc.
- Monthly reports and feedback to leadership and Relationship.
- Presentations to Clients and internal Stakeholders.
- Presentations at Events and Seminars such as Euro-Finance or Export.
- Conference - Annually

Requirements

Minimum Education Level Required:
- Essential is to satisfy the UAE requirements for an approved Person, both initially and ongoing
- Must have ability to read Income Statement and Balance Sheets

Professional Qualification:
- Preferred is a Business Degree in Accounts or in the Process of Completed the same B Degree

Work Experience:
- Has been a rain maker and has in-depth revenue in chasing revenue targets and leading a team
- Must have 5 years Trade Finance marketing experience

Special Skills / Attributes required for the Job:
- Essential is a in-depth knowledge of Trade Finance Products, industry, freight forwarding, marine insurance and related law and practice
