Trader – Al Ghurair Energy

Job description / Role

Initiate trades and discuss/present to head of trading for clearance. Make market analysis, reports, and projections and trade flows, whether physical or paper including sourcing/supplying opportunities.

Negotiate, Execute and Implement all spot and term barrels and trading strategies in line with company's guide lines and directions/support provided by the head of trading.


Exchange market information with external traders and Internal trading team for prudent decisions and complement each other activities.

Participate in major industry events and meet trading partners, in order to analyze the market conditions, build relationship and exploit market and enhance business opportunities.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Marketing.
Preferred Industry related courses on trading and technical analysis.

Relevant Experience:

7-10 years of total experience in the Oil industry, out of which at lest 6- 7 years minimum experience in physical trading in Middle East and Far East markets, with the knowledge of futures trading in Nymex, International Petroleum (IP), Singapore exchanges and integration of shipping, operations and risk management capabilities are must.
Know-how of correlations, between different markets needed to identify arbitrage opportunities.
