Job description / Role

- Experienced trader in polymers and petrochemical products
- New Market Development
- Supervising committed trade to the satisfaction of the buyer
- Constant market tracking, analyzing trends and dynamism of the market for efficient and effective decisions.
- Increase sale of commodities in bulk and containers
- Achieve best realizations on sales ensuring greater profits
- Procurement of commodities at best prices keeping coherently in mind the parity.
- Ensure smooth and timely trade execution from the team..
- Ensure easy and smooth receipt of payments from the buyers end..
- Negotiation of bulk vessel freight at targeted number.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a good track record ( 3 to 5 years) of petrochemical trading and be able to interact with customers and suppliers and create new relationships with Clients.

- Formulating and implementing the trading policy and business ensuring the day to day profitability.
- Seeking and developing opportunities to extend sourcing of their products, involving long term contracts, projects.
- Building strong personal relationships with producers, processors, shippers,etc
- Monitoring day-to-day developments in the global market and reacting positively and creatively to international economic and political developments.
- Forecasting market direction.

Age: There are no rigid age limits as long as the candidate has the required experience and personal qualities.

Qualifications: A degree or business qualification eg MBA would be valued

Experience: Candidates should preferably have gained their experience with a major international trading house. Substantial trading experience in polymers, sulphur, urea and bitumen is absolutely essential.
