Job description / Role

Contribute to performing and executing assigned trading activities within the Trading Sector. The person occupying this position will also assist the Senior Trader in tracking and observing the markets to acquire best deal in the Local and Arab markets for the company and its clients.

Main responsibilities:

Operational
- Assist Senior Trader in performing Trading activities in a timely manner and based on the markets best share price.
- Communicate with other team members within the LAID in order to sustain smooth operations and workflow.
- Perform as per the Trading sectors efficiency standards and adhere to the Trading sector policies and procedures set in place.
- Assist Senior Trader in performing and executing all trading activities and operations while sustaining quality assurance.
- Perform all Trading activities assigned in line with it Company Trading strategy.
- Assist Senior Trader in collecting and analyzing data with regard to the Local and Arab markets condition on a regular basis, due to its volatility and unpredictability.
- Adjust and adapt to a fast-paced changing market on a continuous basis and with any changing circumstances.
- Assist Senior Trader in performing and executing all securities transactions as per the regulations of the Capital Market Authority and the policies and procedures established by the company.
- Contribute to the preparation of transactional reports on a quarterly basis to be presented to management for review.
- Assist superiors in Liaising with the Asset Management department to acquire their approval upon the initiation of trading activities.
- Contribute to developing and maintaining an exhaustive database for all current and prospective clients.
- Assist Senior Trader in catering to the needs and requirements of clients and offer them best in class practices and services.

- Act as an active team player and collaborate with co-workers throughout the course of service.
- Maintain team spirit to mutually meet departmental objectives.
- Respect all co-workers and display integrity in performing the day-to-day activities.

Reporting to: Assistant Manager - Trading
Other interactions: Kuwait Stock Exchange,Capital Market Authority, Financial Institutions, Current and prospective clients
Duration: Permanent
Probation: 100 Working Days
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday From 08:00 to 15:00

Requirements

- Graduate Degree in Finance/Banking or related discipline
- 2 years of relevant experience
