Job Title: Traffic Manager
Salary: 25,000-35,000 QAR + Car allowance + Family Medical + Family Tickets
Location: Doha, Qatar
Project: Contractor

Our client is looking for a Traffic Managers to be based in their Doha office. They are specializing in a variety of Infrastructure and Construction markets in Roads & Highways. The Traffic Manager would be responsible for managing a variety of Roads Construction projects.

The most suitable Traffic Manager will have experience in similar projects and have a Civil Engineering background with at least 12 years of solid experience in Roads Construction.

Duties:
- Confirms that all related site works are done according to the approved design and conforming to the road safety audit
- Proposals for improvement of road safety on the roads
- Perform road safety audits and follow up on corrective actions and closures
- Performing Accident investigation, evaluation & measures to avoid the accidents
- Assisting in Pavement Condition Survey & investigate the traffic related impacts onto pavements
- To direct the contractor to take proper and timely actions in order to maintain an acceptable traffic level of service throughout the project duration

Requirements

- Minimum 12 years overall experience in roads construction
- Proven experience in planning, design and implementation of traffic management schemes for roads projects
- Experience in installing traffic management systems to control traffic at road works
- Good communication skills and solid understanding of the issues affecting traffic management on busy trunk roads
- Proficient in dealing with local roads authority, the police and other interested parties
