Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Identifying training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers.
- Designing and managing training and development programs based on both the organization and the individuals needs.
- Managing the delivery of training and development programs.
- Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with mangers.
- Evaluating training and development programs.
- Keeping up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, and attending relevant courses. Researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research.
- Communicate and provide employees with required advice that helps them understand and implement the training policy and procedure.
- Manage Company performance Appraisal
- Analyze Performance Appraisal & Recommend Training Needs
- Conduct training needs assessment
- Develop and manage company training budget, training plan, and individual development plan.
- Manage the development program for juniors and interns.
- Assist in developing the company competency framework.
- Communicate to management the due date for completion of action plans, follow up to ensure the actions plans are completed and approved
- Handling Employee communication which includes internal communications
- Developing effective induction programs

Requirements

- University Degree
- Prefer to have Masters in HR or an HR Diploma
- Strong Knowledge of Training and Development; and other regulations impacting areas under responsibility
- Excellent Command of English.
- Good Computer Skills including knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Writes and speaks clearly, accurately and effectively.
- Listens well to others.
- Able to deal effectively with people from different backgrounds.
- 7 years of experience in HR, preferably in the Oil & Gas Sector
