Training Institute Director

Job description / Role

Objectives:
To oversee the day-to-day running of a busy corporate training institute

Reporting to: Chairman
Subordinates: Sales Manager, Office Manager, Accounts Manager, Director of Studies & Teacher Training, Professional Qualifications Director
Other interactions: Teachers, trainers, external agencies, local/international schools, international accrediting bodies
Number required: 1
Duration: Permanent Position
Desired start date: immediately
Probation: maximum of six months
Working Hours: normal working hours are: Sun-Thurs 9am-6pm

Main responsibilities:
- General Management of the business
- Administration
- Human Resources
- Accounts
- Business Development
- Liaison with accrediting bodies, key partners, and industry representatives

Travel requirements: occasional travel within country, international travel for annual conference

Gross monthly base salary: Net: 30000AED
Commission / Bonus: at owner's discretion depending on individual and company performance
Other Benefits: health insurance and telephone allowance also included

Requirements

Nature and length of previous experience:
5 years experience in a senior management position.

- Proven track-record in driving business.
- Knowledge of UAE and local culture.

Specialist knowledge:
Understanding of vocational training, current learning & development and HR issues

Current Location: Dubai, UAE
