Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is looking for a Training Manager to manage the learning and career development of the sales force including own retail, franchise, field and key account workforce by providing them with in-store and classroom based training programs so that they can professionally represent our brand to our consumers and contribute to the business targets.

Salary 22-24,000 AED

Key Responsibilities:
- Design training strategy and yearly training calendar for own retail, franchise, field & key accounts in alignment with the brands requirements in close partnership with the respective management leads.
- Assess training needs, localize the training materials depending on country specific, channel specific and store specific requirements.
- Plan and deliver the annual own retail-training plan as well as the training budget plus support on the training calendar for franchise, key accounts and field for delivery by HR Trainer.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training imparted ensuring ROI through specific store KPIs
- Keep up to date with developments in training tools and techniques and provide innovative ideas to effectively train store staff as well as through a motivated team of in-store trainers.
- To align all internal resources and information for the development of product related trainings
- Align with Talent MENA in the development of high quality training material and customizing where required.
- Follow the regional catalogue of functional learning offers (Retail University) and seasonal as provided by Headquarters for your stakeholders.
- Develop the competency of Store Managers through training on performance coaching and managing resources in retail operations.
- Benchmark our trainings with the trainings offered by key competitors. Conduct industry benchmarking and maintain external contacts.
- Align and share best practice with EM counterparts.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent command of English and preferably Arabic
- Business Acumen, Creative and Solution oriented.
- Project Management experience
- Strong work ethic as travel will be across AUH, AL Ain, Furjarah, Sharjah, RAK, and Dubai (Driving license essential)
- Customer oriented, approachable and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A good team player with an international mindset
- Excellent organization, time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent MS Office skills

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree - preferably with certification in Training and Development
- 4+ years of overall work experience in Training field (Multinational or Retail preferred)
