Employment: Full Time

To lead and develop the learning and developing function, developing the businesses training and development strategy.
Planning, developing and implementing developmental training objectives which are well-aligned to the strategies and goals of the business. This includes managing development training programs, forecasting development training budgets and evaluating techniques implemented and required for successful delivery of training programs.

•Plan development training budgets and forecast training costs based on the results of the Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
•Review business strategy to identify developmental training needs for Retail and create annual, quarterly, monthly development Training Plans which are aligned with business requirements, store objectives, approved training budgets and staff appraisals.
•Make training program recommendations to HR and Retail Management based on assessments and observations made within the field.
•Train, modify and evaluate Leadership Development Programs used to ensure a consistent coaching approach is adopted throughout the Stores
•Provide ‘Train the Trainer’ support to Store Management to ensure Training is continuously implemented in the Stores and to execute a buddy system to new joiners.
•Design and implement a Training Audit system conducting reviews to ensure consistent performance is measured and maintained
•Work closely with the Operations and Store Managers to develop the performance of Store Staff and Stores with low level performance

Requirements

•University degree
•Bilingual - Arabic should be first language
•2 – 3 years training/ organizational development experience
•Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Retail Store environment
•Proven training program design and facilitation skills
•Strong assessment and verbal/written communication skills
•Ability to evaluate and analyze training programs and training resources
•Proven understanding of store operational procedures
•Proven experience in implementing new training initiatives
•Intermediate – Advanced skills across the MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

In early 2013, Majid Al Futtaim Fashion announced a joint ventures agreement with the leading American retailer and casual wear clothing brand, Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (A&F), with respect to its Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch brands. The agreement is to develop Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitchs presence within the UAE, further supporting the brands international growth. As Abercrombie & Fitch Co.s first physical foray into the Middle East, the landmark joint venture partnership with Majid Al Futtaim Fashion should significantly broaden A&Fs regional potential across the GCC, further adding to the regions offering of exceptional market leading international brands.
