Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for developing and delivering technical and soft training to employees. Whilst contributing to the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees' skills, enabling them to fulfill their potential within their organisation by assessing the skills and knowledge within the contract and determining what training is needed to grow and retain these skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Identify training and development needs within an organisation through job analysis, performance reviews and regular consultation with business managers and the human resources department. Design and expand training and development programmes based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs. Working in a team (both within and external to training) to produce programmes that are satisfactory to all relevant parties in an organisation. Developing effective induction programmes. Assist to devise individual learning plans. Produce training materials for in-house courses. Manage the delivery of training and development programmes Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers. Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met. Evaluating training and development programmes. Amend and revise programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment. Help line managers to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups. Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant courses. Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages. Research new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research. Conduct Tool box talks to a structured program. Produce technical hand books and guides as and when required. Responsible for writing, developing and designing policies and procedures related to training.

An experienced trainer with the ability to motivate and develop employees. Must have a proven track record in a technical/training engineering Must have strong Hard service technical skills Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams. Must have a hands approach to technical solutions. A good command of English Language is essential, reading and writing in Arabic would be
advantageous. Knowledge of MS Packages is essential including PowerPoint.
Experience Must have a proven track record in technical engineering & technical training Soft services training experience Experience of designing and delivering training programs
Experience Must have at least 2 years experience in a technical/training role Evidence of devising training plans and delivery
