The RoleThe RoleQatar Duty Free, a subsidiary of Qatar Airways, one of the world's fastest growing airlines with an expanding route network covering Middle East, Far East, Africa, Asia, Europe and USA, is providing high quality duty free operations at Doha International Airport. Training Officer is responsible for developing and facilitating training and industrial programs, covering a wide range of personal and leadership development related areas in accordance with an agreed training plan. The incumbent ensures that people are equipped with the required behavioral knowledge and skills to support the business in achieving objectives. Key performance indicators: Identifying training and development needs within the organization through job analysis, focus groups and consultation with senior management and department heads. Producing training materials for in house courses and ensuring that statutory training requirements are met. Evaluating, amending and revising programs as necessary in order to adapt to changes that occur in the work environment. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a strong leader as well as have very good presentation skills. Ideally you will have 5 to 8 years of retail training experience with a formal accreditation in training. You will be a graduate / post graduate with a focus in Human Resource, Organizational or leadership development. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key part in ensuring that the continued five star excellence that our customers have come to expect is operationally maintained. |
