Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

A Big Multinational Company in Advertising sector is looking to recruit a Trainer officer Manager

•The Ideal Candidate must have the ability to travel frequently abroad and occasionally overseas
•Designing and expanding training and development programmes based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs;
•Developing effective induction programmes;
•Conducting appraisals;
•Devising individual learning plans;
•Producing training materials for in-house courses;
•Managing the delivery of training and development programmes and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy for the organisation;
•Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met;
•Evaluating training and development programmes;
•Amending and revising programmes as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment;
•Helping line managers and trainers solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups;
•Having an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages;
•Researching new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this research.

Requirements

•Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources’ Management, or related studies
•4-6 years of experience in a Training Department of a Multinational company or in a Consulting Firm, with at least 3 years of experience in design, delivery and facilitation of training programs
•Very good use of Ms Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
•Fluency in Arabic and English
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Excellent presentation skills
•Advanced planning and organization skills
•Business acumen
•Customer orientation
•Strong analytical skills
•Ability to travel in the Middle East countries
•Team Leading abilities
•Adaptability

The nature of the training and development role is industry-specific, with the level of responsibility and variety of activities dependent on the type and size of the organisation. However, activities are likely to include of the following:

•Communication Skills: Corporate trainers need to speak present to groups of employees, speak interpersonally with individuals, report to management and meet with vendors. They must be friendly, clear, strong speakers. We need excellent Knowledge in English and Arabic.

•Critical Thinking: Corporate trainers will have to develop or assess materials that will help employees or Associates understand the subjects being taught. Trainers will have to understand the needs of the employees or Associates and judge what will work.

•Decision Making: Corporate trainers will have to decide the best programs to train their employees or Associates and meet the needs of the organization.

•Management: Trainers might be in charge of training staff, or need to motivate and train large groups of employees.
