Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Actively identify and develop employee potential in order to continually increase company performance and employee motivation while securing tomorrows workforce.
- A key requirement of this role includes developing and maintaining quality systems and processes to ensure the delivery of training programs, the implementation and evaluation of a Learning Investment Plan, and leading on new developments such as e-learning Sales and customer service. The post holder will manage the Learning department to ensure that a quality service is provided, and reviewed according to the needs of the Company.
- Visit different locations involved in the organization establishing training requirements for each business unit.
- To ensure that all Company Standards are communicated, implemented and executed at all times.
- To establish and maintain contact with external education and development providers, to be able to provide the company with the best available resources.
- To carry out research on training providers, maintain a database of the same and update regularly.
- To arrange training materials and other logistics for employees who attend training programs either internally or externally ensuring that budgets are being adhered to.
- To develop and maintain accurate files relating the training and development.
- To administer a system of employee training records, maintain staff training records and evaluate staff feedback on the training programmes.
- To assist in the coordination of transfers and promotions within the company addressing any training and development needs identified so that employees in new positions are prepared for their new responsibilities.
- To ensure that the following Training Programs are conducted regularly and if necessary delivery of: (and not limited to)
* Orientation
* 1st Aid
* Language Training
* Culture Awareness and Sensitivity Training
* Train The Trainer
* Management and Supervisory Training
* Health & Safety
* Food Hygiene
* Customer Service
* Local Qatarisation Training Plans.
- Provide periodic reports to management in regards to training and development.
- To establish and maintain contact with external education and development providers, regional and international universities, colleges and business schools, colleagues in other related industries to be able to provide the company with the best available resources
- To coordinate Traineeships and Internships with a view to recruit from both locally and internationally. Provide training and development appropriately documented.
- To identify training, educational and development needs within the company for all levels.
- To develop, implement comprehensive training, education and development program.
- To develop, implement and evaluate the annual training business plan to improve effectiveness and practicability.
- To ensure that training requirements are set by the company which are adhered and implemented.
- To identify training, educational and development needs within the company through a Training Needs Analysis.
- To ensure that Standard Operational Procedures are made for each department.
- To ensure that all UDC and HDC Company Standards are communicated, implemented and executed.
- Promote positive work relationships with all departments.
- Provide training to all levels of staff.
- Plan and implement new initiatives and meet deadlines.
- Liaising with clients, managers, and staff to ensure the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications. Direct performance of staff and follow-up with corrections where needed.
- Liaise with managers and staff throughout the company to ensure that a Quality Assurance system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, advise on changes and their implementation and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
- Work with HR & Admin manager and team providing the highest level of service to customers.
- Any other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time as directed by your Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

- Degree in Human Resources or Training & Development.
- Minimum of five years experience in Training & Development within a Hospitality or Hotel environment.
