Job description / Role
Responsible for preparing Training and Development policy for the bank including staff developmental courses and accreditations from the Banking Institute, ILM and other approved professional institutes.
You will also responsible for strategic planning, conducting employee training, educational and developmental programs; conducting general and specialized training sessions; providing information and arranging for training of bank's employees through specialized institutes and organizations.
Detailed Job Description:
1. Plan, coordinate and conduct general and specialized employee training, educational and developmental programs.
2. Confer with Managers to ensure that short and long-term people development strategies are supported.
3. Manage learning academy and build branding and development.
4. Organize and develop annual training calender, training methodology (newly developed materials and pre-existing), reference library, testing and evaluation procedures, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials. Monitors the applications of learning methodology.
5. Formulate teaching outlines in conformance with selected instructional methods to match with the identified Training needs and solutions.
6. Screen, pretest and counsel employees regarding training, educational and development programs.
7. Develop and deliver presentations/programs to various groups.
8. Manage Staff Assessment Centre.
9. Select and assess external Training providers.
10.Provide professional support during development and delivery of various training programs for either executive Management or Staff.
11. Perform a variety of tasks within the general scope of the job and others that may be assigned by the management.
Requirements
At least 8 years of experience in the field of HR with 5 years in training & development programs.
Excellent command over English and Arabic language.
