Employment: Full Time

A training and development officer/ Supervisor Assist the learning and professional development of the company workforce and improving their productivity.

Helps workers create long-term career plans within the company and improve their skills, enabling them to fulfill their potential within company by effective development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of suitable training programs.

Training and development officers required to be strategic, assessing the skills and knowledge within company, determining what training is needed to grow and retain these skills, enhance performance and productivity.

Training and development officers activities are likely to include some or all of the following:
- Identifying training and development needs within an company through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with department heads and human resources departments.
- Designing, Planning and expanding training and development programs based on employees competency (requirements & gap), career path and company needs.
- To set up, implement and review appropriate systems and methods for Training Needs Analysis
- Plan the implementation and facilitation of training programs, budget spending, material production and distribution, logistical support and other resources to ensure that training processes are managed within authorized budgets.
- Amending and revising training programs as necessary, in order to adapt any changes taking place in the work environment.
- Developing and Conduct effective Orientation programs for newly joined Staff.
- Oversees the preparation and development of the necessary training materials, brochures, multimedia visual aids and presentations for in-house courses.
- Monitoring and reviewing employees training programs progress.
- Assisting Department heads and trainers to solve training difficulties.
- Manage training Evaluation process by conducting performance evaluations for training providers, training programs and employees, process measurements and provide performance feedback.
- Researching in new technologies and methodologies which can help developing the training process in the company and presenting these research.
- Build solid cross-functional relationships by working effectively as a team member with other members of management and the human resources staff.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in Management or Human Resource Management or relevant field.
- Preferred: CPLP Certified Professional in Learning and Performance
- Five years of experience in training and development.

The company has been known as the first manufacturer for steel pipes in the Kingdom and the largest producer of welded steel pipes manufactured by high-frequency induction welding to serve multiple uses that meet the needs of the oil and gas, water and construction sectors in the region and other markets.

The current yearly production capacity of the company is 240,000 metric tons of steel pipes, that are produced by 4 production lines, with sizes ranging from (1/2 - 20) inches. The company also owns a factory for hot induction bending pipes which is considered the largest in the area, where the hot induction bends are produced in various diameters ranging from (2-48) inch to a thickness up to 50 mm.

The adherence to quality appears in the investment in the state of art technologies, which enable the electronic control of all production stages which enables the operator to control all critical production variables during the production, this contentious electronic control system is a sole element in certifying the products of the company by major oil & gas companies.
