Job description / Role
The Training and Development Specialist provides a professional training service within general policies and professional standards, in order to support the effective provision of high quality training services in the relevant country of operations, in line with the Organizational Development department's strategies.
Monitors and records training activities and programs effectiveness for training delivered in own area, as well as keeps track of training costs and participates in preparing reports to justify expenditures.
Prepares, coordinates and delivers Retail training courses, as well as soft skills training courses to the junior members of the organization.
Conducts assessment of training needs under the consultation of the Organizational Development Manager and HR Manager.
Administers, develops and assists Store Managers and Assistant Managers with regards to competency processes (performance management, development planning and succession planning).
Conducts local store orientation programs and Group Orientation, as well as ensures that values are being demonstrated in the stores.
Raises Brand awareness among store staff including relevant aspects of marketing and shoppers psychology.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Psychology, Human Resources or Business Administration. 2-3 years of experience in a similar field.
Experience in Retail Training is a plus.
Fluency in English.
Proficiency in MS Office
