Job description / Role
Annual Salary - 90,000 AED + housing allowance, transportation allowance and flights
TTi Global are seeking a Translation and DTP Specialist to provide translation and desk top publishing support in the Middle East. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and work with our client a leading automotive brand
Responsibilities include:
•Proof reading and translation of English documents into Arabic
•Manage the production of daily multilingual Desktop Publishing (DTP) projects using InDesign, Illustrator, Captivate or other publishing software
•Working on multilingual MS Word and Powerpoint documents requiring heavy formatting (table of contents, fields, bookmarks, images, styles)
•Producing graphics such as diagrams, charts and tables
•Assisting in designing slides shows, presentations and printed handouts
•Converting documents to formats for the Web and Smart devices such as tablets and iPhones
•Developing new computer-based or web-based learning programs. Analysing, testing and modifying programs to ensure accuracy and functionality
•Providing input and advice regarding design of architecture for computer-based, web-based and instructor-based training programs
•Assist with Training Support when necessary
Requirements
The successful specialist will possess the following skills and experience
•Professional level proficiency in English and Arabic (written, verbal and typing)
•Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
•Proficient in Adobe programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Flash, Captivate, Acrobat X Pro and Photoshop required.
•Experience with SCORM, XML files and LMS an asset.
•Excellent communication and organisational skills, both written and oral
•Client-focused with a "can do" attitude
•Ability to plan, manage and deliver multiple tasks, training preparation and projects to absolute deadlines
